Telehealth Therapy Safe, Secure and Private for Adults in New Mexico

Skip the waiting room and engage in therapy where you are the most comfortable. Accessing therapy in a virtual office only requires a device with an internet access.

 Therapy where you are at.

Therapy Where You Are At

One disadvantage of rural living is the lack of options and resources. That is no longer an issue with televideo or online therapy services. You can connect anywhere from a phone, tablet of computer to engage with therapy. You will see your therapist and will be able to interact much like you do in person.

Many clients are uncomfortable sitting in waiting rooms or being seen by others as they enter a mental health office. With online therapy, the office is where ever you want it to be. You can be in your car, a park, your home or your office at work. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a place where you can talk with privacy.

When you sign up for therapy, you will create a client account in a safe, secure - HIPAA compliant - and private program called Counsol. That program allows you to see your appointments, make payments, email your therapist and connect to online therapy appointments. Sometimes we will use Zoom Medical depending on the strength of the internet service.

By using New Mexico insurance often the cost is free to you. I accept a variety of insurance and check the FAQs to see if I take your insurance.

My approach is designed to empower you to regulate your emotions and become your own therapist, so you can confidently navigate life’s challenges no matter what those are.

The goal that I have is to help everyone I work with to be able to have all the skills that you need to deal with whatever comes your way.

To do this:

  • Weekly or biweekly sessions
  • Access to Therapy Companion site loaded with resources
  • Guidance through Rational Self Counseling skills
  • Various non-traumatizing tools to resolve trauma
  • Skills building to implement the "how" of your goals
